Short Bio
Pranjali teaches History at the Department of History, MDDM College, Muzaffarpur. She completed her Post-Graduation from Banaras Hindu University, and M.Phil.-Ph.D. from Pondicherry Central University. During her doctoral research, Pranjali worked on Imperial Botany under William Roxburgh. She has been awarded with Gold Medal at M.Phil level. Pranjali has worked as a Project Assistant in the Ministry of Culture sponsored project on ‘Compilation, Preparation of Archive and Digitization of Mahamana’s Works’ at Banaras Hindu University. She has written articles in various journals published from Springer, EPW, Sage, Routledge and others, and participated in seminars and workshop at IIAS, Shimla, and NEHU, Shilong. Her area of research interest includes History of Disease, Imperial Botany and Science and Empire.
